From Claude chat to PDF in three steps

1Create a share linkIn the chat, click Share and copy the public link.

2Load the chatPaste the link into the tool above and click Load chat.

3Click PDFIn the print dialog choose Save as PDF. Done.

Why not just print the Claude page?

Printing claude.ai directly cuts long answers, drops code formatting and includes menus and buttons. The print view of this tool is built for paper: one column, clear speaker labels, code blocks with line wrapping and no interface elements.

PDF, Word or Markdown?

Choose PDF when someone should read but not edit, for example a client, a professor or your archive. Choose Word when you want to keep working on the text. Choose Markdown for Notion, Obsidian, GitHub or a knowledge base.

FAQ

Can I save several chats as PDF at once?

Yes, with Pro: load up to 25 links at once or convert your complete data export. For many chats, HTML in a ZIP is the fastest; open the files and print the ones you need.

Does the PDF include images?

Text, code and attachment text are included. Images and generated files from the chat are not part of the shared snapshot and are not exported.

Does the PDF export work on a phone?

Yes. On iPhone and Android the print view opens in a new tab; choose Share or Print and then Save as PDF.
